Do take note, the IMC DSLRs are available for loan during any district camps/courses/meetings in HQ.
Anybody can borrow the camera, but only the person who signed it out can handle it. This policy is implemented as the person who signed the camera out is in charge of the camera and as such, is liable for any loss or damage to IMC equipment.
Preferably, you should also inform the IMC staff (CPT Angela, 3SG Lester and 3SG Melvin) before the event to check for availability as the camera may be used for larger events like NDP/parades/other district events.
My suggestion for you guys is that the event OIC should appoint somebody who is relatively free for the event (S1/S4/OCs) to be the photographer and this person will be in charge of drawing the DSLR and taking photos.
The Publicity Committee would highly encourage you all to take many pictures, not only of cadet officers camwhoring, but also snapshots of cadets in action. This is part of our outreach programme in an effort to connect with the cadets, cadet officers, and teacher officers of the Corp.
