Central District Cadet Officers,
The Basic Airborne Course will be conducted at Hendon Camp (Changi) from 20 May to 7 June. You have to meet the following criteria before you can apply:
a. Must be 16 years of age on 20 May 2013
b. Min Pes Brief
c. Min weight 42 kg
d. Must have parental consent
The pre selection test is on 25 Apr, 1500 hr at NCC Campus. Attire no. 4 uniform with boots. All applicants must attend the safety brief on 24 Apr, 1500 hr at the MPH. If you are absent for the brief, you will be removed from the course.
The Final selection will be held on 6 May, 0730 hr at Hendon camp. Attire the same.
You will be tested on the following for the selections:
Male
1. 30 push-ups within 1 min.
2. 30 sit-ups within 1 min.
3. 08 chin-ups.
4. 2.4 km run in SAF No. 4 within 12 min 30 sec
Female
1. 15 push-ups within 1 min.
2. 20 sit-ups within 1 min.
3. 06 inclined chin-ups.
4. 1.6 km run in SAF No. 4 within 10 min.
5. Straight arm-hang for 15 sec
