Application for Mount Kinabalu Adventure Trekking Expedition

Central District Cadet Officers,

The application for Mount Kinabalu Adventure Trekking Expedition is opened and Central District is given 3 slots for Cadet Officers to participant in this expedition. The tentative dates that it will take place will be 15th December 2014 to 18th December 2014. The selection criteria are based on the following:
  • Minimally a Gold NAPFA awardee*
  • Cleared medically for the trek (Refer to Annex B of the AI)
* NAPFA results are only valid for one year from the test date.

There would also be a series of physical conditioning sessions and preparation to train and prepare applicants for the trek.
  • Introduction to Trekking Workshop (2-3 hrs)
  • 6 sessions at Bukit Timah 
  • Pre-trip briefing
Interested Cadet Officers are required to download the AI found under the "Files" tab in our Central Facebook Group and submit the following 4 documents:
  1. Medical Declaration (Annex B)
  2. Application Form (Annex C)
  3. NAPFA Test Result
  4. Passport Details
Do take note that there is no need to go for any medical check-up till the participant has been confirmed for the program.

Please submit your documents by sending an email to our Central email by 14 October 2014, 2359 hrs. Alternatively, you can also submit the hard copy of the documents directly to Ma'am Gurdip by 14 October 2014, 2359 hrs.
