With the reshuffle of the NCC-NYAA committee, registration for NCC-NYAA Gold is now opened to all interested Cadet Officers. The National Youth Achievement Award (NYAA) is one of the premier youth development programmes in Singapore. It is also to encourage youths between 14 and 25 years to develop personal qualities of self-reliance, perseverance and a sense of responsibility to themselves, to society and to the nation.
Cadet Officers who are looking for that extra something to complement their service and time in NCC are highly recommended to join. Through the activities, there will be many opportunities to take up leadership or management roles as well as to bond with other Cadet Officers from other districts.
Interested Cadet Officers are to sign up through our Central Blog by 16th September 2014, 2359 hrs. Also, you must be able to fulfil the award criteria by the end of tertiary education, and will be required to attend an interview with the Committee on 20th September 2014 to gauge your level of interest and ability to attain the award.
