The Cadet Officer EXCO is organizing a cadet-organized, cadet-supported initiative known as the Exploration and Adventure Training Course.
This pilot programme will see participants trained in exploration planning and execution, as well as exposed to various terrains in parts of Singapore. These could range from the tropical rainforests of the Central Catchment Nature Reserve to the farmlands of Lim Chu Kang, or even the urban jungle of the City centre.
Cadet Officers/Associate Members interested in the NYAA Gold Award should note that this Course intends to prepare them for greater self-organized adventurous journeys and physical activities (2 components of the NYAA Gold), and could even be used to fulfil the requirements for some of them.
You should be reasonably physically fit, mentally robust and eager to learn. It also helps if you are interested in training reminiscent of those military documentaries you see online.
