Code Of Conduct

Professionalism 

  • Maintain a healthy relationship between Cadets and Cadet Officers 
  • Balance Welfare and Discipline during Camps and Courses 
  • Always be well-prepared for any Camps or Courses (especially Courses involve revisions & assessment) 
  • Settle any disputes behind closed doors. Do not quarrel in front of Cadets or to post any sensitive remarks on Social Media Platform (incl. Facebook and Twitter) 
  • Take the initiative to ask questions, give suggestions, and provide constructive feedbacks during Camp or Course Post Action Review 
  • Work as a Team. Do not form a culture of blaming one another
  • Ensure Safety of Cadets at any point in time 

Ethics 

  • Respect others before you demand respect 
  • Greet all NCC personnel (incl. Commandant NCC, Command team, Sergeant Major NCC, District Commanders, CSO, TCO, District Specialists, other NSFs, Teacher Officers) 
  • It is necessary to pay compliment to SAF & NCC Officers. For other personnel, it is required to pay compliment verbally. 
  • It is also necessary to salute when there are Ensigns marched past and when singing the National Anthem (short version of National Anthem does not require salutes)  

 

Image & Appearance 

  • No slippers and shorts are allowed when entering Amoy Quee Camp 
  • Facial hair is not allowed for the Males 
  • Colored hair is not allowed for both Cadets and Cadet Officers 
  • Hair should be kept short and neat for the Males, while the Females are required to wear a Hair Net if their hair reaches their shoulder or longer
  • Inappropriate Haircut is not allowed in the Camp (e.g. Mohawk, Undercut) 
  • When in Civilian attire, shirts are to be tucked in at all time 
  • Only black watches are allowed to be worn with Uniform 
  • Boots have to be darkened and kept serviceable 
  • Jockey cap is only allowed during IMT and Trainfire events 
  • Contact lens are not advisable for Camps and Courses 
  • Avoid carrying bulky items in pockets, pens that are visible, wearing jewelries, ornaments, and sunglasses with Uniform
  • Ear sticks/studs are not allowed for the Males 
  • Only PT kit with sandals or PT shoe are allowed on the ground floor during Admin time 

 

Self-Discipline 

Cadet Officer Admin Room 

  • All Food is to be consumed outside the Admin room 
  • Admin room should be kept clean and tidy at all time
  • Red chairs are to be located around the meeting tables, while Black chairs are to be located near the Admin Computer
  • Additional chairs are to be placed neatly at one corner of the room 
  • No one is allowed to sleep in the Admin Room, unless permission is granted by District Commander, TCO, or District Specialist 
  • S1 OIC and Camps or Courses OIC/2IC are responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the room at all time 
  • Non-S1 personnel are not allowed to use the Admin Computer 
  • No playing of Computer games, surfing the Internet, watching Movies, or blasting Music, at all time. The Cadet Officer Admin Room is strictly for official work purpose only 
  • The Admin Computer password is kept with TCO, District Specialist, and the District Management
  • Upon knowing the Password, do not leak it any other Cadet Officers. This is for the confidentiality of Cadets and Cadet Officers personal particulars 
  • Do not place any of your personal belongings in the Admin Room. All personal belongings will be removed at the end of the Camp or Course 
  • Request the Admin Room key from TCO, District Specialist, or Sergeant Major NCC 

District Office 

  • District Office is strictly out of bounds to all Cadets and Cadet Officers 
  • Cadet Officers require to enter to do official work or to look for any personnel are to request permission from District Commander, TCO or District Specialist 
  • Ask for permission before entering the office. Do not walk in freely 
  • When inside the District Office, do not make loud noises that may affect the staffs inside from working
  • Greet all Superiors in the Office when you happen to see them around 

Cadet Officer Bunk 

  • Do not remove any Mattresses and/or Pillows out of the Bunk 
  • Used Beddings are to be brought down to Blk 246, and placed outside the Linen Store 
  • All food is to be consumed outside the Bunk 
  • The Bunk is to be kept clean and tidy during the running of Camps and Courses and after the event has ended
  • No blasting of loud music at any point in time 
  • All personal belongings are to be removed upon the end of Camp or Courses. Cabinets found locked will be forced open and all personal belongings found inside the Cabinets will be thrown away.
